Many of us are overwhelmed by the numerous #Instagram announcements. It's like thousands of new tabs have opened and there's a ton of knowledge to research. 📗📚

But when it comes to features that can directly impact content creators income, then we gotta ⏸️ and learn. 💲💵

Some of these features are still in beta with a select few influencers...some where around the corner for a while.

I think Affiliate will be a game changer in how we shop and how content creators are rewarded for sales they directly impact. We've seen them for a long time through YouTubers and Bloggers and I always wondered how much value are they really driving to both brands and content creators. 🤔

And are influencers gonna go wild with tagging any product they use or pretend to use to get a commission? Or will there be a more authentic approach?

Photoshop has dropped the latest update with Neural Filters – a super cool bunch of features utilizing AI to edit images.

The beta features include some that are still flimsy like The Makeup Transfer tool, however, we can only begin to imagine how mind-blowing the use of AI can be.

There’s a reason people went crazy with the Face App trend…remember the one that makes you look like a cheerful 75-year old in a medical insurance commercial?

Photoshop Neural Filters – specifically the ‘Smart Portrait’ feature may seem like a gimmick, afterall why would professional photographers, for example want to add older or much younger touches to their subject?

However, think of other purposes for this brilliant AI feature…Maybe a missing person’s projected portrait of a child who went missing years ago and is now in their 20s? These sketches usually take days of work by forensic artists.

Or in a movie scene where we want to show a photo of an actor’s parent and we want him to resemble him but older…(happened with us on a project)

For me, I think the Super Zoom is super useful and once it’s updated and fixed, the Makeup Transfer can be a game changer.

Script typefaces can look elegant or a hot mess. 💩

One thing to remember is to almost always avoid All Caps when using them.

We love and have embraced the trend of combining them with simpler San Serif modern typefaces. Especially the ones with marker/Felt tip effect. ✍️

You can find these at 1001Fonts.com, Dafont.com and Envato.

Some are free for personal use, so please support fellow creative folks and buy them if you intend to use them for a client. 🙏
